Through the Eyes of an Intern

Hey Scrappers fans, as your on field hosts this season we also be writing the Scrappers Scoop; Through The Eyes of an Intern.

I guess I’ll start out by telling you a little bit about myself. My name is Kevin Sympson and I just finished up my fourth year at Ohio University. There I am studying Sports Administration and Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration. After this next fall semester I will be done with school and moving on to the working world and can’t wait! This is my second year working with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. Last year I was lucky enough to work with Mark Libs in the sales department and Heather Sahli in the marketing department. If you were at our games last year you may remember doughy donut during the Dunkin’ Race. Yes, that was me. Because I had so much fun and loved all the people who I worked with last year I wanted to comeback for another year, and luckily the Scrappers organization wanted me back as well. This year I am working as a full time marketing and promotions intern. On top of day-to-day work I will also be hosting the on field events (along with Annie). I had such a fun time last year I am looking forward to all the exciting things that we have planned for this year.

My name is Annie Stoltenberg, and I could not be more excited to be one of your on-field hosts this season. I grew up in Burlington Vermont, home of the Vermont Lakemonsters. I later moved to Needham Mass, and now attend Texas A&M University as a senior Sport Management major. I’ve been blessed to spend the last three years working for the Texas A&M Baseball team as well as the Vermont Lake Monsters, Connecticut Tigers, and Tri-City ValleyCats. When I’m not at a baseball game, I like to go rollerblading, bake, go on road trips and cheer on Aggie Athletics. This will be my first time to live Ohio and I’m looking forward to seeing as much of the Mahoning Valley as possible!
